Simi announces ‘Simisola’ deluxe album features 2 baba, set for JJW
Multiple award-winning singer, Similola Ogunleye a.k.a Simi has announced that she will be featuring music legend , 2face in her ‘Simisola’ deluxe album.
The duo came together on the remix of ‘Original Baby’ , part of the original ‘Simisola’ album initially released in 2017. Simi announced the song’s release on her Instagram page @simplysimi on Wednesday by sharing a snippet of the song with the caption, “Issa legend @official2baba”.
The collaboration comes five years after Simi tweeted about her wish to work with 2 Baba, whose song ‘African Queen’ is regarded as a timeless classic. This is happening as Simi is set for an evening of fun, music and dance in Abuja this weekend.
In the event tagged, Johnnie, Jazz and Whisky, Simi said she is ready to storm the stage and give her fans more than her best. JJW is Nigeria’s premier afro-jazz platform showcasing the true beauty of a live performance. Each JJW night is best described as ‘A blend of music and flavours’.
