Bayelsa Decides

AS Bayelsan decides who becomes the next Governor, the readiness and eagerness can be seen in the electorates.

At Okpoama, home of Chief Timipre Silva, APC Governorship candidate. Electorates were seen bustling with excitement to cast their votes as early as as 7am.

At Ewuoama, same feeling pervades the community with youths chanting change around and about the whole place in a peaceful manner.

In Twon Brass, youths were seen in fierce mood, breathing confidence of APC victory being their stronghold. But there is atmosphere of a little tension.

In Eweoama voters apathy

EWEOAMA – VOTERS apathy a‎apparent due to heightened tension following an earlier clash between parties at Brass and the shooting.

While INEC staff are set in all the polling booths, fears has crept in, making accreditation very slow.

With the security presence, there is hope that the earlier enthusiasm will return.
