The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari has floored his opponent, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar after winning the Saturday’s presidential election in all the 34 local government areas of Katsina State.
Buhari defeated Atiku in the state with a wide margin of 924,077 votes.
Results from the local government areas announced at the State Collation Center for the Presidential election in Katsina headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and presided over by the State Collation Officer, Professor Fatima Batul Mukhtar showed that Buhari scored 1,232,133 votes to defeat Atiku who scored 308,056 votes.
