Police announce arrest in slaying of sales rep at model home
MILLERSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Police in Maryland say they’ve made an arrest in the killing of a sales representative at a model home.
Anne Arundel County police plan a news conference to announce details of the arrest Friday, about two days after the body of 33-year-old Steven Bernard Wilson was found in a model home where he was working. He was a sales and marketing representative for builder Ryan Homes.
Police say officers were dispatched to the home following a 911 call but couldn’t confirm whether Wilson made the call himself. The married father of two young children was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilson’s family describing him as a “loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.” A spokesman for the parent company of Ryan Homes, Virginia-based NVR Inc., has declined comment.
