Stanbic IBTC gets four-star quality rating
Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc says it has received a four-star rating in the Lafferty Banking 500 Global Benchmarking Study.
The bank, in a statement on Thursday, said the rating was in validation of the quality of service it provided in the Nigerian market.
According to the statement, the bank is one out of 160 banks that has achieved a four or five-star rating.
The statement said only eight banks out of 500 had achieved the highest score of five stars.
It said the Lafferty Group provided research and intelligence to the banking industry across the world.
The Executive Director, Personal and Business Banking, Stanbic IBTC, Babatunde Macaulay, said the recognition and rating affirmed the bank’s commitment to providing peerless services.
He said the rating also affirmed that the bank was headed in the right direction in its mission to become Nigeria’s leading end-to-end financial solutions provider.
Macaulay said, “Our ongoing digitisation, innovative initiatives, customer-centricity, aggressive universal financial services drive, consistency in delivering relevant solutions to our clients and value to our other stakeholders will be buoyed by this award.
“The high rating is a testament of Stanbic IBTC Bank’s overall quality and stability and demonstrates the bank’s capacity to consistently deliver tailored solutions that showcase its expertise and understanding of the dynamics of the retail banking sector.”
