At the end of March 2017, solid fertilizer production in Senegal increased by 18,800 tonnes in absolute terms.According to data collected by the Directorate of Forecasting and Economic Studies (DPEE) at the Senegal Chemical Industry (ICS), this yield improved from 200 tonnes in March 2016 to 19,000 tonnes a year later.

On a monthly basis, solid fertilizer production follows the same upward trajectory from 15,600 tonnes in February 2017 to 19,000 tonnes.

Phosphoric acid output rose by 33 percent to reach 29,300 tonnes, compared to 22,000 tonnes in March 2017.
