The Naira, yesterday, appreciated to ₦362.31 in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window.
Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the window dropped marginally to N362.31 per dollar yesterday from ₦362.33 per dollar on Wednesday, indicating 2 kobo appreciation of the naira.
However, the volume of dollar traded in the window yesterday rose by 18 percent to $106.06 million from $90.14 million traded on Wednesday.
Similarly, the naira yesterday appreciated by 30 kobo in the parallel market.
According to naijabdcs.com, the live exchange rate platform of the Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON), the parallel market exchange dropped to ₦358 per dollar from N358.3 per dollar on Wednesday 30 kobo appreciation of the naira.
