JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – South Africa’s manufacturing output expanded by 1.1 percent year-on-year in April following a revised 1.6 percent contraction in March, the statistics agency said on Thursday.

Statistics South Africa said factory production on a month-on-month basis shrunk 0.6 percent in April, decreased by 3 percent in the three months to April versus the previous three months.
