LONDON, May 23 (Reuters) – Spot trade was slow due to some outages as various Asian tenders closed with at least one mopping up some of the overhang of Nigerian crude grades, while more offers surfaced for medium to heavy Angolan grades.
NIGERIA
* Some 20 cargoes remain from the June loading programme, out of a total of 60 and down from closer to 30 a week ago.
* Nigerian July loading programmes were still emerging. Brass River will load 100,000 barrels per day in July on four cargoes while Escravos will load 153,000 bpd on five cargoes.
* Force majeure on exports of Bonny Light was still in effect on Wednesday, Royal Dutch Shell said. The major declared force majeure late last week after a problem on the Nembe Creek trunk line.
* Flows of crude oil along Nigeria’s Trans Forcados pipeline have started to ramp up again after an outage of almost a week, several trading sources said on Wednesday.
* Angola’s state firm Sonangol still has a cargo of Dalia left available in July.
* Total was to have sold its cargo of Girassol to Repsol, traders said.
* Angolan Hungo and Sangos were being offered at around dated Brent minus $1 a barrel, about a $1 stronger from last month, while Kissanje was shown at dated Brent minus 75 cents a barrel.
TENDERS
* Indian HPCL’s awarded its latest tender to buy 6 million barrels of crude for delivery July 1-15 or Aug. 1-10. Traders said that Shell was the winner with Nigerian crude but the specific grades and volume did not immediately emerge.
* The winner of Taiwan CPC’s tender for August crude did not immediately emerge.
* Thailand’s PTT is looking to buy between 300,000 and 1 million barrels of light sweet crude for delivery between mid-July and mid-August.
* Indonesia’s Pertamina closed a tender to buy crude for either Aug. 1-10, Aug. 16-20 or early September delivery but the winner details had not yet emerged. (Reporting By Julia Payne; Editing by Elaine Hardcastle) ))
