Globacom goodwill message to the Children

As children all over the world mark the International Children’s Day, the nation’s most preferred data network, Globacom, has urged Nigerian children to imbibe the habit of honesty and hardwork.

Globacom also advised them to eschew vices such as greed and laziness.

In a goodwill message issued by the telecoms network from its headquarters in Lagos in commemoration of the event, Globacom advised “children to be obedient, respectful and exhibit good virtues at home and in school. The company said this will help the children to achieve their desired academic goals and imbue them with the well-rounded development they need to become successful leaders of tomorrow.”

Globacom underscored the potentials of Nigerian children as world leaders in various disciplines, adding that given the right education and environment, they will excel beyond expectations as they are highly talented.

“Our children are our future, so we must take our commitment to children seriously and ensure that they are properly trained and well taken care of as we prepare them for future leadership of the nation”, the statement added.

The telecoms network also advised all stakeholders in public and private sectors, education administrators and religious leaders to pay more attention to programmes that will give our children all-round development.
