THE Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah, has invited the Minister of Transport, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dakuku Peterside, to the state to witness the development strides of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Obuah said that only a facility tour of projects in the state by Amaechi and Peterside would make the duo appreciate Wike’s judicious use of funds accruing to the state.
He alleged that for eight years, the duo as governor and commissioner for Works respectively, left little or no mark in road construction, and rehabilitation unlike Wike, who has invested in infrastructural development.
Obuah said that Wike should be commended for not enriching himself while abandoning infrastructural development, pointing out that “The magic is nothing but applying accountability, transparency and commitment to duty in the management of State resources.”
He added: “But seeing they say is believing, it’s no longer a matter of unnecessary exaggerations, hoodwinking the people into a world of make-believe that were their stock in trade while their administration lasted. Ours is democracy in action and food for thought for doubting Thomases.
